This is the real fork in the road. Each model has a cost; pick the one your media setup needs.
Bannerflow’s default
You traffic ad tags or push through an integration. The creative stays on Bannerflow’s servers, so you can change a live ad without re-uploading it. The flip side: the ad depends on that platform. Bannerflow’s own support notes that deleting a campaign shows its creatives as blank at the publish destination.
HTML5 zip export is available “when needed”; check with Bannerflow which publish options your plan includes.
Foldwrap’s model
Every size downloads as a native HTML5 package with platform presets and click tracking, plus video and GIF. Files load their animation library from Google’s ad CDN and fonts from Google Fonts — nothing from Foldwrap. Ads you shipped keep running if your subscription ends.
A revision means a new export and upload. Keep an editable .foldwrap source backup alongside.
