Foldwrap vs Bannerify / For Figma banner producers
Bannerify alternative that animates your Figma design for you.
Import from Figma. Get the animation draft. Finish it in a full editor.
Bannerify animates banners from a plugin panel inside Figma. Foldwrap imports your frames into a browser editor, drafts the motion for the whole creative, and keeps every size together for review and export as HTML5, video, or GIF.
Both export HTML5 banners for the major ad platforms. Bannerify needs Figma for every step. In Foldwrap, Figma is one way in: import your frames, or start from an AI draft or a blank canvas and build the whole set in the editor.
Choose Foldwrap
“We design in Figma. We produce the set elsewhere.”
You want an animation draft on import, not layer-by-layer setup.
A producer or animator finishes the set in Foldwrap, outside the Figma file.
You want sizes, review links, version history, and exports in one place.
Not every brief comes with a Figma file. Some start from an AI draft or a blank canvas.
Best fit: agencies, studios, and in-house teams with recurring campaign work.
Consider Bannerify
“Our banners should never leave the Figma file.”
Design, motion, and export all happen in Figma, and the source stays there.
You need Lottie embeds, hover states, popups, MRAID, or playable formats.
Foldwrap does not embed Lottie or add hover states yet. If those decide it, consider Bannerify.

This is the real fork. Each model suits a different team; pick the one that matches who makes the next revision.
Bannerify’s model
Every banner is a Figma frame.
Bannerify treats each top-level frame as one banner and animates it from the plugin panel. New sizes are generated as new Figma frames. When the master design changes, its docs say to generate a fresh batch. Exports render inside Figma.
Bannerify’s troubleshooting docs note that high-resolution MP4 exports can hit Figma’s memory limit and suggest exporting WebM and converting it.
Foldwrap’s model
Every size is a variant of one creative.
Import from Figma, or start from an AI draft or a blank canvas. Then build the sizes inside the same creative with AI resize. Copy approved motion to matching layers, review the set on one link, and export each size for its ad platform. Autosave and version history keep earlier states.
Design edits after import happen in Foldwrap’s editor; paste updated elements from Figma when needed. Download a .foldwrap source package to keep an editable backup.

05 / Start with one campaign
Keep your Figma files. Change where you animate.
Take the frames you last animated in Bannerify and import them into Foldwrap. Compare the draft with your Bannerify export, then ship the next campaign from whichever result needed less work.
Refine the automatic draft until it matches your approved motion.
Build the other sizes and share the set on a preview link.

Your Bannerify alternative questions
What is a good Bannerify alternative for Figma banners?
Foldwrap fits teams that design in Figma but want to animate and deliver the set in a dedicated editor. Import frames with the Figma plugin, start from an automatic animation draft, build the sizes, share a preview link, and export HTML5, video, or GIF. If you need everything to stay inside the Figma file, Bannerify remains the closer fit.
How is Foldwrap different from Bannerify?
Bannerify is a Figma plugin: each frame is a banner, and you animate and export from a panel inside Figma. Foldwrap imports your frames into a browser editor, animates the whole creative automatically, and keeps every size as a variant of one creative, with version history and a hosted review link.
Is Foldwrap cheaper than Bannerify?
For one person, the monthly price is the same: $49. Yearly, Foldwrap Pro is $468 and Bannerify Pro is $499. Bannerify charges per Figma user; Foldwrap Foldwrap Studio is $99/month with 3 user accounts.
Can I import my Bannerify animations into Foldwrap?
No. Foldwrap does not read Bannerify timelines, saved animations, or variant setups. Import the same Figma frames instead: Foldwrap creates a new animation draft, which you then refine to match your approved motion.
Do I still need Figma to use Foldwrap?
Only to import designs with the Figma plugin. After import, editing, resizing, review, and export happen in the browser. You can also start from an AI draft or blank canvas without Figma.
Does Foldwrap export text as live HTML text?
Yes. Editable text layers export as live HTML text with web fonts. Bannerify exports text as SVG images by default, with an option to use paragraph tags.
Does Foldwrap support spreadsheet variants like Bannerify?
Yes, on Foldwrap Studio. Paste rows from Sheets, Excel, or CSV to create text and image versions in a batch. Bannerify applies CSV or XLSX rows at export and can also swap media, styles, and visibility.
Which ad platforms can Foldwrap export for?
Foldwrap exports platform-ready HTML5 ZIPs for Google Ads, Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360, Google Studio, Adform, Flashtalking, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and more, with preflight spec checks. Passing preflight does not guarantee platform acceptance.
