Product Update, June 2025: AI everywhere
Hey! Alex here, the human behind Foldwrap.
It's been an intense month of coding, and I'm excited to share the new features we've just rolled out to everyone.
Foldwrap is an animated ads creation and editing tool that produces native, lightweight HTML5 banners from Figma designs or AI prompts, with automatic animations applied. Built for advertisers, banner designers, and digital agencies who want to create and scale animated ad creatives faster and easier than ever, and also eliminating human errors and removing the need for tools like Adobe Animate or Google Web Designer.

New AI features.
Last month, I finally cracked the code on integrating several complex AI features into the product:
- AI-powered creative generation from scratch
- AI-driven ad resizing
- AI prompt-based creative editing
Let me break down each one:
Generate ads with AI
Simply enter any text prompt and get a complete animated ad tailored to your specific request. Generation takes just 5-10 seconds, then you can fine-tune the result in visual editor, instantly export to HTML5, and use it on any website or advertising platform.
I'm genuinely excited about how easy animated ad creation has become. You can try it right now without even signing up!
Create banner resizes with AI
I've been making banner ads for over 10 years, and honestly, most of my time was spent on resizes 🤷♂️
It's mind-numbingly boring, but essential for launching ad campaigns. Now Foldwrap makes resizing effortless – give Foldwrap AI-powered resizing a shot.
The AI resize tool is currently in beta and can't handle very complex graphic structures yet, but it works brilliantly for simpler creatives,
including animated ones. I'm actively seeking feedback on AI resizing and will systematically refine the tool based on your input.
Edit creatives with AI
Last but not least – and my personal favorite feature 😁 – just tell the AI editor what you want to do and watch it happen.
I spent hours playing with this feature during development, and it performs exceptionally well in many scenarios, such as:
- Translating creatives to any language
- Changing animation styles
- Making targeted edits
Try prompts like:
- "Add a second frame with product features"
- "Translate this creative to French"
- "Add another frame with a Jupiter image"
- "Make the animation longer"
- "Change the CTA button to green and animate it sliding in from the left"
Editor improvements
Beyond the AI features, I've polished the editor extensively. My goal was to make it feel familiar to anyone who's used other graphic editors.
Pan, move, multi-select elements, group operations, resize with shift, context menus – these operations sound simple, but the logic and coding behind them is seriously complex (trust me on this one), and I'm thrilled to have it all working seamlessly 😁
You can now zoom the editor and timeline, copy animations to paste onto other elements instead of recreating them manually, plus dozens of other small improvements throughout.
My biggest motivation comes from users who benefit from Foldwrap in their work, so I'd love any feedback you have. Please share your experiences, ideas, and any bugs you discover!
Thanks for reading!
