July 2025 Release: Better Typography, Figma Copy/Paste, and Faster Ad Revisions
July 2025 release focus: sharper typography, faster Figma handoff, and quicker revision rounds for animated ad production.
If your workflow starts in Figma and ends in launch-ready banner creatives, this update removes several small but expensive bottlenecks. Text styling is more flexible, asset transfer into the editor is faster, and bulk edits are much easier during client feedback loops.
Alex here, founder of Foldwrap.
Here is what shipped.
Better Typography Control for HTML5 Banner Ads
Typography is one of the first things people notice in a display ad. If text looks off-brand, fuzzy, or inconsistent across sizes, the whole creative feels weaker.
This update gives you more control over text without slowing production. You can now:
- choose fonts from a proper font selector
- use custom fonts or 1,800+ Google Fonts
- fine-tune typography settings with immediate visual feedback
- edit multiple text elements at once
For freelancers and agencies producing native HTML5 banner ads, this makes it easier to keep text crisp, readable, and consistent across campaigns.
If typography quality is a major concern in your workflow, see also Typography in Display Advertising.
Copy Individual Figma Elements into Foldwrap
You can now copy a single object from Figma and paste it directly into the Foldwrap editor with automatic animation applied.
This is useful when you need to swap a product shot, logo, badge, icon, or CTA asset without re-importing the whole design.
To use it:
- In Figma, right-click the object.
- Choose
Copy as SVGorCopy as PNG. - Paste it into Foldwrap.
This makes the Figma plugin workflow more flexible, especially for late-stage production edits.
Edit Multiple Elements at Once in the Canvas and Timeline
Revision rounds often mean repeating the same change across several layers. You can now select multiple elements with Shift and update their properties and animations in one pass.
Multi-selection also works in the timeline, which makes it easier to:
- move groups of elements together
- align related layers faster
- adjust animation durations without editing each item one by one
For freelancers, this cuts repetitive work. For agencies, it helps keep timing and layout changes consistent across larger creative sets.
Smaller Editor Improvements That Save Time
This release also includes smaller usability upgrades that matter in everyday production:
- hold
Shiftwhile moving elements for more precise positioning - use the improved creatives list on the account page
- work with a generally smoother editor UI
These changes are less visible than major feature launches, but they reduce friction in the parts of banner production that happen dozens of times per day.
Why This Update Matters
Foldwrap is built for creative freelancers and agencies that need to move from design to animated delivery fast without losing control over text, layout, and motion.
This July release improves that workflow in three concrete ways:
- better typography control
- faster Figma-to-animation handoff
- quicker bulk edits during revisions
If you produce animated display ads regularly, these improvements should make day-to-day production noticeably faster.
